Some evenings leave a mark.

This one, organised for a TUI group, was exactly that. Veena Appadoo, commercial coordinator at Summertimes, and Armelle Dorasamy, local operations manager at TUI, had carefully mapped out every step. A site inspection programme that delivered from the very first moment.

First stop: La Réserve Links Golf.

The view over Bel Ombre Bay catches you before you even set foot on the course. The weather was magnificent that evening: golden light, a gentle breeze, and a sense of peace that settles in naturally at this place. Didier Gayat, golf director, welcomed the group with the same warmth as the setting itself. When he began speaking in German, the room relaxed immediately. A drink in hand and a panorama in front of them, the questions followed naturally.

The group then moved on to Le Château, where the garden offers another way to breathe in the estate. Then on to Heritage Awali and Heritage Le Telfair, two resorts with distinct characters, both held to the same standard. Between the natural pathways of Awali, shaped by lush local vegetation, and the refined elegance of Le Telfair, the group understood what defines Heritage Resorts: attention to every space and every detail.

The pinnacle of the evening was dinner at Ginja restaurant.

Gregory, the restaurant manager, and his team delivered something rare that night: precise, attentive service that never felt heavy-handed. Food that matched the atmosphere. The guests left with that particular feeling: that they had been truly looked after and that none of it had felt staged.

That is what luxury is, really. Not the décor. Simple things done perfectly.
