Hospitality Vibrations
At the Heart of Hospitality, True Stories
The Voice Behind the Stories

“Mauritius can’t be explained. It can only be felt… and the people who bring it to life deserve to be heard.”

My name is Jérôme. I've been working in tourism and hospitality in Mauritius for many years — long enough to learn one essential thing: the most compelling stories are never found in brochures.

They're found in a hotel kitchen at six in the morning. In the eyes of a guide who knows every tree in the nature reserve. In the voice of a front desk agent who, after ten years, still welcomes every guest as if it were the very first time.

Hospitality Vibrations is my field notebook. A space to give a voice to these professionals — those who are seen and those who remain invisible — who bring Mauritian hospitality to life every single day.

I'm not a trained journalist, nor a self-proclaimed expert. I'm someone who listens, asks questions, and believes that every journey deserves to be told with care. This blog is my way of paying tribute to an industry that gives so much — and is heard far too little.
