Out on La Réserve course, nobody was thinking about competition. And that's exactly what golf is about.
On Friday, 3 April, around fifteen members of the Solis 360 team – Business Development, Reservations, Commercial, Key Account, Planning, and Marketing – made the journey to Bel Ombre early in the morning. Before touching a single club, tea, coffee and pastries were waiting for them on the restaurant terrace, overlooking the course. A first taste — quite literally — of the chic and warm welcome that defines the estate.

The golf clinic began with Didier Gayat, General Manager of La Réserve Links Golf, who guided the group with a patience and gentleness that immediately put everyone at ease. No pressure, no scorecards — just the essentials.
How to stand. How to grip the club — the hand that locks naturally into position. The difference between an iron, a wood, and a wedge. And above all, the idea that surprised more than a few: golf isn't really a competition against others. It's a conversation with yourself, one shot at a time. The sense of wonder was real and contagious.
It was also a chance to crack the vocabulary code. Because a tee time is not a tea time. A few essential reference points:

C Beach Club & the Discovery of Bel Ombre
After lunch at C Beach Club — a perfectly grilled fish to revive the palate — it was Véronique, our living encyclopaedia of Bel Ombre, who took over. With precision and passion that left no detail unmentioned, she walked the Solis team through Heritage Le Telfair and Heritage Awali: two resorts, two atmospheres, one address. Every square metre, every room category, every restaurant signature — nothing escaped her presentation. The group left with far more than a product sheet.
